OPPORTUNITY FOR 2013 NATIONAL PUPPETRY FESTIVAL SCHOLARSHIPS
ReplyDeleteThanks to the generous support of fellow PofA members, Youth, Young Adult, andAdult scholarships are available for the Puppeteers of America National Festival -Puppet Festival (r)Evolution 2013 - at Swarthmore College near Philadelphia, PA August 5th - 10th, 2013.
Scholarships cover registration fees for the festival and are awarded to three age groups.
• Youth - ages 12-17
• Young Adults ages 18-21
• Adults age 22 and older
Selection is based on a completed application which demonstrates one's involvement in puppetry (current and future), financial need, energy/passion and enthusiasm for puppetry along with support materials and letters of recommendation. Every applicant must be a current member of the Puppeteers of America or be sponsored by a member organization in order to apply.
Deadline for submission of completed applications, letters of recommendation and support material is February 1, 2013.
